Annual Retreat

Since its early beginnings, Trinity has hosted a family-friendly, annual retreat weekend for parishioners and their guests at Shrine Mont, Conference Center of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia and home of The Cathedral Shrine of the Transfiguration.

Shrine Mont is located in Orkney Springs, Virginia, about 100 miles west of Washington, and 13 miles west of Mt. Jackson (approximately two hours driving time depending on traffic). Everyone is invited – individuals, couples and families with children of all ages – to this refreshing weekend in the mountains. Those seeking unfettered rest can come, find a favorite rocking chair and partake of as much porching as you like! We also offer creative activities, stimulating learning, free time to relax and play, good food, worship and opportunities to reflect on our life of faith.
