Intercessory Prayer Ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church

For this reason, since the day we heard it, we have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may lead lives worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, as you bear fruit in every good work and as you grow in the knowledge of God.     Colossians 1:9-11

Since February of 2003, Trinity’s Intercessory Prayer Ministry has built community by:

Praying for Trinity’s rector and mission, the church, our families and friends, and all people we encounter as we strive to provide a ministry of life, hope and healing to others.

Facilitating spiritual formation and growth through life transforming seminars and small group events.

Extending Trinity’s pastoral care ministry outside church walls by visiting Trinity’s sick and shut-in members to share Holy Communion and pray.

Conducting Healing Services for those afflicted in spirit, mind, and/or body.

Healing Services

The ministry of Jesus invites us to new life in God and with each other. In following the example of Jesus and the disciples, we continue God’s work of healing through prayer in his name and the laying on of hands.

Trinity’s Intercessory Prayer Ministry participates in Trinity’s monthly first Sunday Morning Prayer services with Healing by administering the laying on of hands to those who come forward and also helping to lead prayers.

Prayer Boxes

If you have a desire for prayer, you may write your prayer request on a slip of paper and leave it inside one of the prayer boxes found at the back of the church or on the table in the entry foyer.

If you desire prayer but cannot attend church, please contact Edna Keith, by sending an email to the church office at info@tecarl.org.

Monthly Adult Study in Scripture and Prayer Event

Every third Wednesday, from 7:00 until 8:00 pm, persons interested in bible and/or prayer, gather together for study.  Through interactive discussions and the use of video materials, people discuss topics such as different ways to approach Holy Scripture and how to be an effective prayer.  All who wish to open their lives to a deepening relationship with God and others are welcome.
