A Post Election Day Prayer

We thank you God for a
peaceful national election process, for all who
offered themselves in service to this
country, especially John and Sarah,
and for those who now will serve.
Bring us all to be of one heart and
mind as we leave the campaign behind
and move forward to rebuilding
our country. Grant that in word and
deed, we may dismantle every
vestige of political, racial and/or
generational divide, to be sources of
protection and support for this
nation’s next First Family, Barack,
Michelle, Sasha and Malia, through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
